The Soc. Com. C. Santos dealership, an authorised concessionaire for the commercialization of vehicles, components and services of the Mercedes-Benz, Smart and AMG brands in Portugal, trusted the company PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS for the production of an interactive digital billboard MYRA, two video walls solutions, a virtual reception desk and an interactive table STRONG for its facilities.
To modernize the surrounding space and in order to provide a positive experience to its customers and visitors, the interactive digital billboard MYRA was installed. With a display of 49”, double-sided and with integration of two webcams for selfies on each side, the MYRA was installed in the waiting area for presentation of information about the current campaigns, fixed prices of services, institutional information, games/quizzes related to the brand, among other information and services.
The Soc. Com. C. Santos dealership also adhered to the benefits and advantages of digital signage and installed a 4×1 55” Ultra Narrow Bezel video wall, 3.5 mm in total, working as a reception and communication panel for the brand, simultaneously.
THIS SOLUTION ALLOWS THE SERVICE TEAM TO:
- Present contents in real time;
- Convey important information;
- Have a license plate recognition system: aided by cameras outside the concessionaire, the license plate of the customer’s vehicle with pre-booked for a certain service will appear on the reception video wall, along with the employee assigned to the customer, where, after validation by the customer manager, the license plate will no longer appear on the panel;
- Streamlining and modernizing space;
In case a customer has not pre-booked for a certain service, there is also a virtual reception desk DROP&GO at the concessionaire’s facilities, with a 22″ touchscreen display framed inside the concessionaire’s mascot. This self check-in kiosk allows the customer, without pre-booking, to leave the vehicle for a specific service, and, for this, he only have to fill out a simple form, remove the envelope provided by the envelope dispenser, put the keys in the envelope and deposit it in the kiosk, where he is assigned two tickets with the information, one being delivered together with the envelope and the other staying for the customer for later pick-up of the vehicle.
It was also installed in the garage of Soc. Com. C. Santos a 2×1 video wall with displays of 55” for dissemination of content, such as promotions of components, brand communication, among other information.
The 43” STRONG interactive table was chosen to integrate the Mercedes-Benz software, which allows customers and visitors to customize the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class model.
